Six moves for pages ChatGPT can actually cite

How we’re restructuring vithos.app so ChatGPT can cite skim-first decision pages — one buyer, one category line, choose → compare → switch.

People don’t type keyword lists into ChatGPT. They ask what to use after Notion Mail, or what beats Superhuman without paying Superhuman prices. Those answers need pages that are easy to skim and easy to cite.

This is how we’re restructuring vithos.app — six moves, applied to our own site before we publish more.

One buyer. One problem. Mac Gmail / Google Workspace power users who want Superhuman speed without Superhuman price or a cloud-held inbox. The problem isn’t “email.” It’s the browser (and closed clients): too slow, too locked.

1. Buyer prompts, not keywords

Start from real asks: Superhuman alternative for Mac, Notion Mail shutdown, keyboard-first Gmail on Mac, mail on disk, scriptable from Cursor/Claude. If the first screen doesn’t answer one of those, it isn’t a decision page.

2. Collapse

Same buyer, same problem, on every journey page. Cut “AI inbox” / productivity-suite drift. Vithos is not an AI email app.

3. Skim in ~20s

One claim in the first two lines. Category line early. Short headings. Concrete comparisons — price, offline, local mail, keyboard, API. FAQ only for real objections.

4. Decision pages

Keep vs Superhuman, vs Notion Mail, and the best-of + Notion switch posts. Fold stray best-ofs into choose → compare → switch. No new SEO pile until the inventory matches.

5. Same category language

Lock keyboard-first Gmail client for Mac sitewide. Local-first, offline, unified inbox, API, and MCP are proofs — not competing category names.

6. Full journey

Choose → compare → switch → after signup. After is the gap: pricing, developers, roadmap, and the waitlist are thin as a narrative. Restructure first, then fill after-signup — not the other way around.
